Osteoarthritis is particularly frequent at the large, weight-bearing joints. Glucosamine, Chondroitin sulphate and Avocado Soybean Unsaponifiables (ASU) supplementation has been demonstrated to play a significate role in joint integrity in Osteoarthritic patients. Long chain essential fatty acids EPA and DHA as found in fish oil may also contribute to the managing of joint inflammation as fish oil is known for its anti-inflammatory properties.
