Low allergen formulation
The diet is made without beef, gluten, maize, wheat, rice, soya, egg, fish, dairy products. The number of different protein sources is limited (3: pork, poultry and pea) to minimise antigenic load and adverse digestive reactions.
High Energy & Concentration*
High energy density reduces the size of the daily ration and helps limit the workload of the digestive tract. High parts of energy from fat and from protein, the two sources easily used and beneficial during the acute phase of recovery. High concentration in all the essential nutrients allows to cover the high needs in small rations.
Low Starch (13% as fed)
Low level of starch helps limit the workload of the digestive tract and increase digestibility and digestive tolerance.
